Hi! My name is Emily Bosak and I am a Certified Instructor and Instructor Team Representative for the Baby Signs® Program. I have a Bachelor of Science degree in Elementary Education from the Indiana University of Pennsylvania. I have five years of teaching experience in the classroom. Currently, I enjoy my full time position as a mother and dedicate my free time to sharing the joys and benefits of the Baby Signs® Program with other parents and caregivers.
My Introduction to and Experience with the Baby Signs® Program
I first heard about teaching baby sign language from a friend, and I thought why not give it a try! So, at four months old, I began teaching my son signs (you may think that's early, but it's never too early OR too late to start signing). At six months old he began to sign Mama and Dada, which was the MOST exciting thing for me!
Since I was a stay at home mom and a former teacher, I thought why not learn how to teach others the wonderful news about signing! I basically started signing with him so that we could communicate and so that he wouldn’t be frustrated when he needed or wanted something. I found the Baby Signs® program and immediately fell in love with what they offered! I believe using the Baby Signs® program enriches our daily lives and strengthens our bond.
I have experienced success with my own child and as a certified instructor for the Baby Signs® Program, I am excited to share this signing adventure with you and your family. I love it SO much that I became an Instructor Team Representative to look for others who want to teach sign language! I look forward to helping you experience why the Baby Signs® Program is the World’s Leading Sign Language Program for Babies!
