I'm Christi, a Speech and Language Pathologist.
I am also an Independent Certified Instructor of Baby Signs ® Programs and an Independent reseller of Baby Signs ® Products.
I began my professional career as a chemistry major in college. Soon after, I began working for MO First Steps, with children who have autism. I fell in love with the children and their families. I quickly changed my major to Communication Sciences and Disorders. I graduated with my master's in 2007 and am a certified and licensed Speech-Language Pathologist. I love supporting people through their unique abilities to succeed in life.
We support Autism Speaks in special loving memory of Danielle Trader. My dear friend and autism advocate, we miss you.
I am also a wife and mother of three children. I have used sign language through my childhood, through motherhood and definitely throughout my career. At one year old, my youngest son with disabilites has a vocabulary of over 100 words and signs. I am excited to give families a tool that is natural, nurturing and educational through the Baby Signs ® Programing.
