Your Instructor Amy Bazley Welcome to Baby Signs®! I have been signing with my own children since 2006 and am continually amazed at the results! I truly believe that it strengthened our bond and greatly contributed to each of my children’s social/emotional growth and language development. (And it made my life a lot easier!) My background includes a B.S. in Early Childhood Education and seven years spent teaching preschool. I use my professional knowledge when I evaluate programs and products designed for babies and young children. That's why I was so excited to find the Baby Signs program. It is research-based, developmentally appropriate, and created by child development experts. I love it, and I hope you do too! This is what I offer: Sign, Say and Play: 6 week play class for parents/ caregivers and babies 6-24 months. We learn signs, read books, play games, and sing songs! It’s fun and interactive. $80 per session, $40 for optional materials kit. Check my calendar page for the next scheduled class. Parent Workshop: A one-time, introductory workshop that teaches you everything you need to know to get started signing with your baby. $30 without materials, $60 with optional materials kit. Check my calendar page for the next scheduled workshop. Early Childhood Educator Training: Are you a child care provider? Does your child attend daycare? I offer trainings to both centers and individual providers so children can benefit from signing while in child care. Contact me to find out more about becoming a certified Baby Signs Center! Private Groups: Do you have a playgroup or friends who are also interested in learning about signing? I am available to teach the Parent Workshop and Sign, Say and Play classes to private groups in my home or yours. A discount will be given for each additional person that pre-registers and attends. This means that you have the opportunity to attend the class for FREE!
